Jessie Ware - Keep On Lying (Preditah Remix)

Another big remix of a Jessie Ware tune, this time coming through from Preditah, who's representing London in the 'Jessie Ware Remixed' competition.

The whole concept is pretty cool and worth checking out, but in short, 5 producers from 5 different cities all over the world remixing the same track.

Preditah adds a real feel for the old school garage and bassline era, and produces by far my favorite track from the competition.

GRMM ft. Father Dude - Electrify (A-Tonez Liquid Remix)

Tune hits you like a feather pillow made of silk.

Australian producer A-Tonez puts a brightening spin on his liquid remix for GRMM's 'Electrify' ft. Father Dude.
Keeping the original vocal in tact over a far more dulcet, soothing base production that brings the track into its element.

Delightful.

Rameses B - We Love

Rameses B produces an outright beauty with 'We Love'
This is the kind of track I would reach for in my downtime; A light, airy and clean liquid production that will rid you of any and every stress, be it only for a couple of minutes.
'We Love' is available to purchase now via. Monstercat.

If you live down the London way then you might want to turn your attention to the first ever Liquicity event in London early next year which Rameses B is confirmed to be playing, alongside Maduk and Fliwo. Not to be missed really.

Fred V & Grafix - 3D Glasses

Sounds like these could only come from none other than Hospital duo Fred V & Grafix. The boys have now curated a staple sound that sets them apart from other drum & bass producers, and really makes noticable how far the genre can stretch in terms of style. '3D Glasses' is a half-time drum track that takes an off-beat influence from the electronic side of things. The track is the first new piece from the boys since the release of their album 'Recognise', and is also the only original to come off their forthcoming 'Unrecognisable' remix album, which will feature a number of remixes from the prior album by a selection of the best producers coming through the drum scene right now.
Release: 24th November

LSB - XLRS

It's been a big landmark for Shogun Audio recently having achieved a decade of success. Now with all the 10 years celebration events having been celebrated, the only thing that could follow it all up is 10 Years of Shogun Audio album. The album is split by 3 parts - 'The Past, 'The Future' and 'The Mix' by Friction, and for the collectors and the vinyl heads, it's available as a limited edition box set.
LSB's 'XLRS' is an immediately recognisable tune, having been circulating the scene in more than a few sets for awhile. LSB crafts a smooth roller with a dark subcurrent. Taken from 'The Future', 'XLRS' is one of the several exclusive tracks and remixes to feature.
Release: 1st December

Tchami - Promesses (Calyx & TeeBee Remix)

It's been a year since the unveilling of Tchami's now most prominent tune 'Promesses' ft. Kaleem Taylor. Now with the track being re-vamped and re-released over on Ministry Of Sound a plethora of remixes have been coming through of the once soulful, future house track. But nobody yet has taken it to a place quite like Calyx & TeeBee's booming, chaos-provoking drum & bass rework.
The British/Norwegian duo have been known for their burly bangers and this track is carrying a shipload.
'Promesses' will be available from January 4th.

Mefjus - Emulation

Fully ridiculous tune from Mefjus.
'Emulation' is one for the skanking crew, and those times where everything just gets a bit silly.

This savage, techy powerhouse production is the title track from Mefjus' forthcoming debut album over on Critical Music, available from November 17th.
Expect big things and madnesses.

Icicle - Will You Be Mine ft. Sarah Hezen

In the lead up to his 2nd album 'Entropy' dropping over on Shogun Audio, Icicle ploughs through with more teasers proving his diverse range of skills and influences in producing.
'Problem' is already smashing it in the peak of sets at just about every rave. If that alone hasn't secured enough album hype, all tracks are now up for preview over on Shogun's Soundcloud page, including this little diamond titled 'Will You Be Mine' with featured vocals from Sarah Hezen. Looks like the album won't be one to disappoint.

Release: November 16th.

Foreign Beggars & Alix Perez - Modus

'Modus' is the title track from the new Foreign Beggars 3-track EP released via Par Excellence.
'Modus' is one of two tracks (the other being 'Deng') which sees yet another killer Foreign Beggars x Alix Perez collaboration.

The collab this time delivers a sub-rumbling trap banger with an explosive lyrical flow spared by Foreign Beggars that brings the club thug-level.

Breakage - Treading Water VIP

Breakage pulls through with a VIP of his latest release over on Digital Soundboy 'Treading Water' ft. Detour City.
The original is cool but the main problem I had on first listening was that it felt like it was constantly building up. The vocal and production is powerful and haunting but I was anticipating some drums to kick in at some point and up the energy of the track. Those drums never did come along in the original but this VIP supplies exactly the vibes I was hoping to hear and proves its necessity alongside the original version. Smoothly played from Breakage.

Both versions available from November 30th.
Pre-Order now.

Stray - Tonight

Stray has gone and done it.
The esteemed London based producer who has been working hard alongside Sabre and Halogenix as the Ivy Lab trio has dropped a free 11-track solo mixtape entitled 'Since You've Been Gone'.
For those expecting a drum & bass affair, its quite the opposite.
The mixtape features a number of finely tuned, hip-hop influenced instrumentals from the back catalogue.
Easy listening.

Nu:Tone - Bay Of Islands ft. Logistics

It's barely been a week since I showcased the first teaser of the upcoming 'Future History' album, 'Change' by Nu:Tone; but with every new taster brings a whole new level of hype.
I said most of what I needed to say concerning the album back on my last post, so i'll save myself the repetition. Each track exceeds expectations, and with the latest offering 'Bay Of Islands' we see the return of the mighty collaboration of brothers, Nu:Logic, as Logistics takes a featuring role on the silky, chilling production.

Look out for the album to drop on Monday.

Delta Heavy - Reborn (June Miller Remix)

Delta Heavy delivered us with an absolute stomper as expected from the duo with their latest release 'Reborn' over on RAM Records.
And just when you thought the magnitude couldn't possibly increase, RAM-comrades June Miller take to the remix to provide a glitched-out rework thats enough leave you lying under the rubble.
If you like being beaten down to a pulp by bass-ridden heaviness then this is probably the track for you.

'Reborn' EP is out now!

Dimension - Love To Me

Dimension's 'Love To Me' is the tune of the moment.
MTA's newest signing Dimension needs no introduction. Robert Etheridge aka Dimension may be fresh to the MTA roster but he's no newbie to the industry, having circulated the drum scene for a couple years now and received high praise and recognition from some of the most established names in the business. It seem's like it's onward and upwards for the young producer as 'Love To Me' is a hit amongst an array of Radio 1 presenters and DJ's alike. In short, it's a concrete banger you can expect to hear a lot more of.
Available from December 7th.

Maduk & Nymfo - Tatta Ganja

Well this is pretty damn great.
Maduk teams up with fellow Dutch producer Nymfo to produce a jungle sprinkled stepper of a track.

I've been a huge fan of past Maduk productions but could quite easily put this down as one of my favourites to date.

Taken from the 3-track 'Motions' EP released on Fokuz Recordings, available to purchase now.

Jessie Ware - You & I (Shift K3y Remix) / Not Into It

I caught Shift K3y's set back at Bestival in September generally as a pass-time as there was no other performances I particularly wanted to see that clashed, but I had no clue what I was in store for.
The London-based Producer/DJ/Performer absolutely smashed it and it ended up being one of my favourite performances of the whole weekend.
I rated his past tracks but since Bestival the amount of time I have for the guy is endless. It's good to see all-round talent escalating with some decent commercial success.
Back again with two new tracks - the first an emotive dance remix of Jessie Ware's latest 'You & I'

&&&
'Not Into It' which samples and re-works Cassie's classic 'Long Way 2 Go' with a sensationally catchy beat.
I'm into it (geddit? lolz)

Baauer - One Touch ft. AlunaGeorge & Rae Sremmurd

Brooklyn based producer Baauer makes a return with an absolute belter.
Taken from his forthcoming EP 'ß' (Beta) which sees its release on November 4th via LuckyMe.
With a little vocal help from AlunaGeorge and Rae Sremmurd, the sultry, bass-heavy production is a guaranteed knockout and secures him with a deserved viral buzz in the lead up to the EP drop date.

Check out the VIP Remix he's done too. It's pretty hectic.
