Alix Perez - Dark Days VIP

Didn't think this tune could get much bigger tbh, but Shogun Audio have just revealed the 'Dark Days' VIP from Alix Perez and I personally think its huge, theres a rolling quality there which gives the tune a touch more fluidity than the original. Nice work from Shogun talent Alix Perez, the VIP will be available in the brand new end of year compilation album 'Shogun Audio Presents: 2013' which will feature a number of unreleased tracks of the label from the past year. One for the christmas stocking.

I've not come across any previous productions from brighton-based Myth before, but I'm definitely doing some digging after being introduced by this banger. Such a refreshing sound! taking influences from various UK dance music sub-genres to give a real energetic bouncy track which sticks in your head like glue. loads of love for this.

Keeno - Nocturne

I can't even.

I've been a huge fan of Keeno from the word go, from the early productions I knew this guy meant business and deserved recognition comes quick to those who can produce simple masterpieces like this. Recently signed over to med school, which he will be releasing his latest EP 'Nocturne' via.

Every single production from this guy makes my soul melt, the way he fuses classical instruments and drum and bass into these flawless melodies - he's like the mozart of drum & bass.

DC Breaks - Gambino

WOI.

Not for the faint hearted, DC Breaks are back with a huge stomper of a track - the kind of tune to get the crowd sweating. Reminds me of some of the classic 90's jump-up tracks. They smashed it with this production, Ram Records releasing tune after tune its a struggle to keep up.

Robin Thicke - Give It 2 U (Trippy Turtle Remix)

Trippy Turtle's first official remix and it sets out a promising path for the newcomer producer.

It's a complete re-work of Robin Thicke's latest smash hit 'Give It 2 U', sounding almost alien to the original - Trippy Turtle gives a R&B infused Trap influence to the song, creating an incredibly versatile vibe that would make the song work in just about any circumstance, weather its a party or chill session.

Calyx & TeeBee - Strung Out (Calibre Remix)

Calibre's remix of Calyx & Teebee's track 'Strung Out' released alongside the duo's VIP version of the track. 'Strung Out' is one of those serious drum and bass stompers, and with Calibre most well known for his melodic and blissful productions I really couldn't predict which way this remix was going to go, but knowing Calibre, the production was well thought out and works incredibly well. Gives the original a whole new atmosphere. Impressive stuff.

The 1975 - Pressure (Artful Remix)

Artful takes The 1975's track 'Pressure' and gives it a garage spin, remix is available on the deluxe album, available on iTunes now -grab it HERE.

I've been a fan of all the material i've heard from the 1975 but this remix from Artful takes it to another place - big, uplifting vibes that'll get a crowd moving.

A$AP Rocky - Fashion Killa (Blackbird Blackbird Remix)

Can't get this one off repeat - San Fransisco based Blackbird Blackbird has done a real smooth re-work of my personal favourite A$AP tune, 'Fashion Killa'. 

Adding in silky instrumentals and loops that give the tune a silky touch and makes it an outstanding kick-back jam.

AlunaGeorge - Best Be Believing (Shadow Child Remix)

Boosta & Atmos T - All My Love

The blogs been getting a bit of neglect recently as the pressure is kicking in during my last year at uni, which is a shame as the past week has been big one for releases - I'll start you off with this jazzy liquid drum and bass track from Boosta & Atmos T.

Track was released on 'Liquid V Club Session Vol. 5' and since has been receiving a considerable amount of radio play - not one to go unnoticed, a real feel-good track which yearns summer nostalgia.
