BCee - In The Shadows ft. Bladerunner & Philippa Hanna

Absolute summer sizzler of a drum & bass track from BCee, a true don when it comes to producing this type of music. As expected, gentle melodies and a soothing drum pattern teamed up with the euphoric vocals of Philippa Hanna - BCee has teamed up with Bladerunner (not for the first time) to produce this masterpiece.

The track will be available August 25th via Spearhead records with the release of the 'Lost & Found' LP.

Ellie Goulding - Burn (Maths Time Joy Rework)

Ellie Goulding has released her latest track 'Burn', her first new track release to feature from her upcoming re-issued album "Halcyon Days" which features all the tracks from her original album that came out last year 'Halcyon', plus some more.
Personally, I think the original has to be one of the best Ellie Goulding singles I have heard thus far, and as we all know, Ellie's voice lends itself favourably to an array of remixes.
This latest remix from Maths Time Joy, (otherwise known as Timothy James Worthington from Kent, UK). The calming, ambient drop ties in perfectly with the vocals and adds a much softer dimension to the track in contrast to the original.

Anyway, it's growing increasingly popular, and for good reason. Give your ears a treat.

London Grammar - Strong (High Contrast Remix)

A powerful remix of London Grammar's 'Strong' from drum & bass legend High Contrast. This guy manages to take awe-inspiring songs and add a whole other dimension to them, as we have seen in the past with the hugely popular remixes he has done for the likes of The Streets and Adele.
Huge respect, a feel-good track if i've ever heard one.

This remix will be available alongside London Grammar's 'Strong' EP available September 1st.

Joe Hertz - At Your Touch

Drumroll please, this debut single from the incredible Joe Hertz is the first unveiling of what promises to be a very long and promising career from the young producer.
'At Your Touch' has been circulating around a few of the Radio 1 shows over the past week and has now deservingly made it onto Majestic - it's been repeating on my speakers for the past few days and has earned an essential spot on my summer playlist - you only need to listen to the track to understand.

I have the pleasure of knowing the man behind the production of this one, and be assured this is only the beginning. Release due late summer via Tigermilk recordings.

Redlight & Seb Chew - Pour It Zero's

Big track I heard get dropped towards the beginning of Annie Mac's Lovebox set. A huge crowd pleaser that got everyone moving, especially one for the girls in the crowd.

Otherwise and perhaps more well known as Redlight's remix for 'Pour It Up' by Rihanna. This is a track I gave fleeting recognition until I heard it in full swing on the big speakers.

Icona Pop - All Night

Bit of a cheesy summer-pop track here.
I'm sure everyone know's of Icona Pop after their huge hit 'I Love It', a track which turned out to be one of the biggest tracks of 2013 so far. Well playing off the roll their on at the moment, they've released the audio for their second single 'All Night'.

The Swedish pop duo are being managed well, I don't think they'll have a platinum future purely based on the fact their vocal talent is pretty amateur, but they've got a knack for releasing well-produced, catchy anthems and it's better to rake in the money whilst you're hot on the scene.

Steve Aoki + Chris Lake + Tujamo - Boneless

It's festival season and this is the kind of track I can imagine some of the big club veterans dropping as their sets reach peak time. Big, scorching hot summer sizzler of an electro-house track bound to get any crowd bouncing around.
Tujamo has done well to score this collaboration with names like Steve Aoki and Chris Lake.

AlunaGeorge - You Know You Like It (DJ Snake Remix)

A couple days back B.Traits premiered the forthcoming DJ Snake remix of AlunaGeorge's infectious track 'You Know You Like It'. AlunaGeorge's work always seems to lend itself very well to remixes of all genres, and these remixes from various DJ's are rife on the internet at the moment following up the release of the debut album 'Body Music'.
This one has been climbing its way up the HypeMachine chart and its one of my personal favourites.
Deep sounds. enjoy.

Technimatic - The Evening Loop

"Having made some of the biggest waves in drum & bass since signing to SGN:LTD, men of the moment Technimatic get set to debut their first full EP on the label. With a growing reputation as ambassadors for the smoother liquid side, this array of top notch productions looks likely to cement their standing even further as the ‘Intersection EP’ arrives just in time for those long summer nights ahead.
‘The Evening Loop’ drifts onto the horizon with sparkling keys, soft pads and a soul searching lead vocal that starts things off as they mean to go on. Listen in awe as the amens rain in with the feel- good drop and rich, warm bass making for a gorgeous slice of highly polished D&B. "

Banks - Warm Water (Snakehips remix)

I've said it before and I'll say it again, Snakehips are playing their cards perfectly and absolutely smashing the scene atm, the productions and remixes that are coming from these guys are perfect for the  heatwave that England is going through at the moment, nothing like something so smooth and funky for the summer heat. This remix of Banks 'Warm Waters' is available to download free via http://hernameisbanks.com/

Fedde Le Grand & Nicky Romero - Sparks (Vicetone Remix)

So my taste in music has been temporarily spiked with the taste of Ibiza, after seeing DJ's like NERVO and Pete Tong throw down some absolutely incredible sets, my attention has been drawn toward the commercial dance and electronica scene.

Bear with me, this isn't a particularly new remix from production duo Vicetone, but it's one I wasn't aware of and I thought i'd share for anyone who might be interested in this kind of music. Makes me wanna go Tomorrowland. -
This, along with various other remixes, are available to download for free from the Vicetone Facebook page below;

Joey Bada$$ - Death Of YOLO

[NOTE: I'm in Ibiza from today until the 13th, will most likely be enjoying myself too much to post anything new. Safe.]

He led us along with a continuous amount of singles and teasers in the lead up for the mixtape to drop, and now it's finally here - Joey Bada$$'s mixtape 'Summer Knights' is available for everyone to download and listen to for no cost at all; get it below.

This track 'Death Of YOLO' has got to be one of the most prominent tracks from the mixtape for me - featuring Smoke DZA and production by Bruxe Leekix. There's no doubt this guy knows what he's doing, only 18 and his ascendance into the hip-hop scene has been impossible to ignore.

Rainy Milo - Deal Me Briefly

First i've heard from the young south-east London born and bred recording artist Rainy Milo, but upon doing my research it seems she's been circulating the scene for awhile and is only gaining recognition as of recently. This girl's got an infectious voice, kind of reminds me of a cross between material from AlunaGeorge and Natasha Beddingfield.
Watch this space.

Camo & Krooked - All Night

Camo & Krooked are back again with their latest video for their new single-track release amongst the anticipation for the new album. The new track has received relative criticisms from fans due to separation from the high-octane productions that we heard coming from the duo in the past.
However, Camo & Krooked are Hospital favourites of mine and I think they've successfully shown their versatility on this latest release - It's good to hear something different and I can already imagine the track will be remixed by some greats. Looking forward to hearing what's to come on the forthcoming album.
"All Night" available to purchase below:

FloFilz - Keep It Real

Had this song posted to me yesterday and had it on repeat since; old-skool hip-hop with a nu-skool twist.
Jamal's 1995 track 'Keep It Real' got the remix treatment from German producer FloFilz. Definitely one to add to your summer playlist.
Download is free too, can't ask for much more.
