Nu:Logic - Morning Light

For those who don't know, Nu:Logic is a duo of two brothers, Nu:Tone & Logistics, both signed to Hospital Records.

Both amazing DJ's in their own right individually - when they've teamed up up in the past their productions and remixes have been outstanding. Which is why i'm incredibly excited for their upcoming album.

This latest track 'Morning Light' is a real nice taster of what we can expect to come.

Azealia Banks - Harlem Shake

I fancy this girl so much.

With the whole Harlem Shake trend going viral, Azealia Banks has done a vocal remix on Baauer's 'Harlem Shake'. 

Theres been a lot of controversy over this song as Baauer claims he didn't give Azealia Banks the rights to use the beat, which resulted in a bit of Twitter beef.

Nonetheless, I think the songs a big tune.

Bodhi - Good Vibrations

Big tune from Bodhi which samples the classic 'Good Vibrations' track from Marky Mark And The Funky Bunch (also well known from Chase & Status' 'Blind Faith'). 

Bodhi has gained a lot of recognition over the past year, particularly from remixing, the most well known probably being his remix of The XX's track 'Angels'.

BCee - Changing Faces (Hybrid Minds remix)

Hybrid Minds have already had a mention on this blog, and as I will repeat, they're one of my favourite new producers in the drum & bass scene, so don't be surprised if I end up uploading every new piece of music they release.

Tokalosh is a little-known drum & bass producer i've been following for awhile now. Well worth checking out for anyone who hasn't heard of him. Hucci - House Party

Since Trap music became popular in the music scene I noticed that there has been a lot of productions in the genre which I think are pretty terrible. Some producers manage to get it spot on though - (Baauer, Flosstradamus, Hudson Mohawke to name a few) - and 17 year old Hucci has proved he's also one of these sick producers.

David Stewart - Silly Boy

David Stewart is an up and coming singer/songwriter who i'm expecting big things from over the next year. His mixtape 'Late Night Viewing' features collaborations with big names in the industry such as Yasmin, Ed Sheeran & Wretch 32.

Submatik - Tempted

Submatik are a relatively new Drum & Bass trio on the scene, however, they have already released a number of great tunes, showing that they're set for big things in the future. This track 'Tempted', featuring the melodic vocals of Charli Brix, they recently decided to give away for free from their Soundcloud page. Skream - Kreepin

Here's Skream's latest track, moving away from his usual dubstep productions and onto house. Skream has just about managed to master the production of every genre. His latest track 'Kreepin' samples Aaliyah's classic 'If Your Girl Only Knew' - the track is available for free download from Skream's Soundcloud page.

Skibadee - Never Gonna Break (VIPER)

MC Skibadee has been in the Drum & Bass game since around the time I was born, but it isn't until now that he seems to have taken a more commercial route with his latest release on Viper Recordings - 'Never Gonna Break' (featuring vocals from Lily McKenzie) has a more recent DJ Fresh-esque vibe which i'm sure will be popular in the charts.

The EP, released on Feb 11th features the instrumental as well as remixes from Sub Zero, Specimen A and even a funky house rendition of the single from Polysonik (below)

Angel Haze - New York (King Krule Rework)

Big fan of this rework of Angel Haze's 'New York' from King Krule. Taken from Angel Haze's 'New York' EP which also features the original and a remix from Loadstar. If you like this, I suggest also checking out his rendition of The Streets - 'Weak Become Heroes'.

Hybrid Minds (Catalogue)

I would go as far to say that Hybrid Minds are my favourite new Drum & Bass producers on the scene atm. Every single track they release is such bliss. I'm glad to see their names getting more recognition in the industry. I strongly suggest checking out their tunes - incredible duo.

Hospitality D&B 2013

Finally managed to get a full listen to the latest Hospital Records release - Hospitality Drum & Bass 2013 is an outstanding compilation album featuring some of the greatest tracks and remixes of the past year as well as new unheard tracks. The artists range from the biggest (Netsky, High Contrast, S.P.Y) to the newest and latest (Etherwood, Dose) - I found myself loving every single second of every single track. For those who like the latest Drum & Bass this album is pretty much essential.

Full Crate x Mar - Nobody Else

Can't say i've heard anything from either of these collaborating producers - if this track is anything to go by though i'd love to hear more.

DJ Yolo Bear - 'Make U Touch My'

Here's a smooth house track from DJ Yolo Bear, again i'm unfamiliar with any of the producers other work. This tune was given away free in the LuckyMe '12 Days' which featured 12 songs given away for free download - to check it out head here:

Jakwob - Blinding (Keeno Remix)

Personally a huge fan of up and coming Drum & Bass producer Keeno. I've heard a lot of remixes of this song but none quite as nice as this - free DL too. I strongly suggest checking out his other tunes too:

Destiny's Child - Nuclear

Heard surprisingly little radio play for this track considering all the Super-Bowl malarky. I'ts the latest release from the biggest female trio to walk the earth. Production by Pharrell, taken from their new greatest hits album.
