Pause.

For anybody wondering why it's gone so quiet over this end (which is approximately 0 people), aside from the Christmas period being a hectic time for everybody, I have also booked myself in for a website design course early January. 

I'm hoping to pick up a couple new tricks, and if all goes well I may be starting up my own website and doing a bit of re-branding where I will continue doing tune updates as well as some other things to make for a bigger and better spectacle.

I'm still in the brainstorming process so bare with me and my humble brain.

Liz-E - Need You

Making a return to SGN:LTD for her second release with the Shogun sister-label, Liz-E comes through blazing with 'Need You' from the new double A-side release.

An assertive drum pattern intensified along a continuous stream of sub-heavy bassline and finely sliced vocal samples, all in all making for an expertly arranged piece of rave-worthy drum and bass.

DJ Fresh ft. Ella Eyre - Gravity (DJ Marky Remix)

Marky injects a bit of soulfulness into DJ Fresh's latest single 'Gravity' featuring vocals from Ella Eyre. Not much other than good vibes on this track, a tranquil twist on the original that provides a nice, easy-going mood elevating tune.
Marky's remix will be available alongside the original, which sees its release in February 2015.

Ben Howard - Conrad (Hybrid Minds Bootleg)

A touching drum and bass bootleg of Ben Howards 'Conrad' from the masters of emotionally infused drum tracks, Hybrid Minds.

This track has been given away for free in celebration of the duo reaching 50 thousand likes on Facebook, and it couldn't be a more appropriate time with the 'Mountains Remixed' drop coming up close.
 Last weekend saw the album launch party at Plan B in Brixton, and it was something else. Easily up there with one of the best nights out i've had this year.

Gerra & Stone - L.I.E.S

I've always been a fan of Gerra & Stone, but the southern UK duo have been on fire lately, knocking out tunes and mixes like there's no tomorrow - everything being so very greatly on point.

That blaze of glory continues in the shape of 'L.I.E.S', a deep sinking roller taken from the forthcoming RAM Annual 2015 album.

Ownglow - Tension

It only takes one tune to know when a budding producer means serious business.
At only 17 years-young, US-raised and Bournemouth-based Sam Reeves aka Ownglow has released his first official single over on Pilot Records, and impressive is an understatement.

'Tension' is a ravishing production that is flooding with classic jungle and liquid influences; pleasing on the ears and makes for a nice introduction into the industry. Definitely a name I'm hoping to see more of.

Jessie Ware - Keep On Lying (Preditah Remix)

Another big remix of a Jessie Ware tune, this time coming through from Preditah, who's representing London in the 'Jessie Ware Remixed' competition.

The whole concept is pretty cool and worth checking out, but in short, 5 producers from 5 different cities all over the world remixing the same track.

Preditah adds a real feel for the old school garage and bassline era, and produces by far my favorite track from the competition.
